**International Power Systems** **(IPS)** has been a busy distributor of high quality Industrial Engines and Brand-Name Industrial Equipment since 1995. We are looking for an energetic, customer-oriented person to join our quest to deliver world-class order fulfillment.

As a front-line member of our team, the **Bilingual** **Inside Sales Associate / Order Desk** person will be on a mission to deliver a superior customer experience. The primary responsibilities of this role are:

- Take and process customer orders, provide delivery information, and follow up as required.
- Provide product price/availability for internal as well as external customers.
- Ensure customer requirements are managed and expectations are met or exceeded.
- Up-sell wherever possible by suggesting related “add-on” items for customer orders.
- Work with Purchasing to resolve backorders or source special items.
- Communicate with customers regarding new products.
- Communicate new customer opportunities to supervisor and outside sales staff.
- Notify any relevant internal departments of customer issues as warranted.
- Work with Warehouse to resolve any discrepancies regarding shipments, receipts, or other transactions as required.

**Your Skills & Qualifications** **are**:

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Mechanical aptitude to be able to research and identify parts from suppliers' online sources and PDF manuals.
- Strong computer / data-entry skills required.
- Organization and time-management are keys to success.
- Excellent verbal/written English and French skills a must
- Minimum 2 years experience in a computerized order desk environment

**Compensation**:
We offer a competitive salary with a generous benefits package and a work environment with a valued team spirit. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am. to 5 pm (no weekends) for excellent work-life balance.
