Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, as the Inside Sales Development Manager, you will provide leadership, mentorship, and motivation to a dynamic team of Inside Sales Representatives and Business Development Representatives, cultivating a fun and engaging environment in which Swish can develop the next generation of Business Development leaders. Simultaneously, the Inside Sales Development Manager will lead a team who meets and surpasses sales targets through the formulation and execution of effective sales strategies. In this position, you will be instrumental in cultivating and sustaining robust relationships, not only within the team but also fostering collaboration with cross-functional departments and external stakeholders. Your adept management skills will be essential in navigating and optimizing internal and external partnerships, ensuring a harmonious and results-driven sales ecosystem.

What does the Inside Sales Development Manager do?
- Champion Swish’s Value Proposition: Articulate and instill Swish's Value Proposition effectively to customers, ensuring a compelling and consistent message.
- Cultivate a High Performance Culture: Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the Inside Sales Team, promoting teamwork and a shared commitment to excellence.
- Continuous Team Development: Provide ongoing training and development programs to elevate the team's product knowledge and refine sales skills, fostering continuous improvement.
- Strategic Sales Planning: Formulate and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives, driving profitable sales growth and maximizing market penetration.
- Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Proactive Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, proactively addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to develop campaigns and promotions that resonate with target customers, enhancing our market presence.
- Performance Analysis: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze sales metrics to generate insights into individual and team performance.
- Leverage Technology: Implement tools such as CRM to streamline sales workflows and enhance productivity.
- Act With Integrity: Ensure adherence to company sales and pricing guidelines, maintaining ethical and transparent business practices.

What do you need?
- 5+ years of direct Sales or Business Development experience
- Post-secondary in Business, Marketing, or Sales (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of leadership experience, preferably in a Sales or Business Development environment.
- Experience in the Janitorial/Sanitation Supply (Jan-San) industry is an asset.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing successful Sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to acquire an in-depth knowledge of Jan-San products, industry trends, and customer needs.
- Analytical mindset and experience leveraging data for informed decision-making.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales-related tools.
