**Job Summary**:
Azkadenya Mezza Diner is currently seeking an Executive Chef. The individual will be responsible for being the head of the entire kitchen operation at the restaurant, managing inventory, budgeting, menu planning, training, plating, and all kitchen staff, from sous chefs to dishwashers. The individual will also ensure the high standard of food quality and that service runs smoothly and efficiently.
**Duties and responsibilities may include some or all of the following**:
- Ensuring high-quality culinary dishes are being served to customers, and customers
satisfaction is the main goal;
- Ensuring dishes are being served on an efficient schedule to increase restaurant overall profitability;
- Supervising and coordinates pricing and preparation of menus;
- Planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities;
- Identifying any problems that arise in the kitchen and resolving them quickly; and
- Responsible for maximizing the productivity of kitchen staff.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 5+ years’ proven work experience as an Executive Chef;
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing culinary talent;
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations;
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays
