Job Title: Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant
Reports to: Accounting and Operations Management
Description of Role:
Hourly role performing bookkeeping and administrative duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping: AR and AP support, bank reconciliations, reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft excel to understand and manage company’s excel sheets
- Administrative: support management with preparation of forms and documents as needed, filing of company documents, and other organizational tasks.
- Learn the THINK Quote System and THINK Administrative System software to retrieve relevant project and quote information for bookkeeping purposes.
- Work with management to prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures for Accounting and Operations departments at Think Green Solutions.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
- High School Education or Post-Secondary Education (College Diploma or University Degree) is an asset
- QuickBooks Certified
- Bookkeeping and Administrative experience is required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills is required.
- Strong computer skills - working knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required.
- Ability to work in a high paced environment.
- Ability to work to deadlines without an excess of oversight.
- Capacity for taking initiative.
- Proficiency in simple marketing initiatives and basic design elements would be considered an asset
