**YOUR ROLE**

As a New Business Development Specialist, your mission is to introduce Canadian business leaders to a more effective way of providing employee benefits. You will be responsible for identifying and connecting with high-potential clients across Canada, setting up appointments for them with our licensed advisors who will help them transition to our innovative plans.

During your onboarding period, you’ll be paired with a dedicated trainer who will provide ongoing support as you learn the ins and outs of our business.

Your training will cover everything from:

- Understanding our company’s mission and values, learning about our target markets, products, and what sets us apart from our competitors.
- You’ll gain a deep understanding of the challenges faced by small and medium-sized businesses in the benefits space, and how our solutions can help them overcome these challenges.
- By the end of your onboarding, you’ll be equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed as a New Business Development Specialist.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**
- You’ll use various tools and strategies to identify small and medium-sized businesses across Canada that would benefit from GroupHEALTH’s innovative employee benefits solutions.
- You'll assess the needs and readiness of potential clients to determine if they are a good fit for our services.
- You'll schedule meetings between qualified prospects and our licensed advisors, ensuring a smooth handoff for detailed sales conversations.
- You’ll maintain an organized record of all interactions with prospects in our CRM system, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-ups.
- You'll work closely with other sales professionals, sharing insights, strategies, and best practices to optimize performance.
- You’ll consistently work towards meeting or surpassing individual and team goals for lead generation and appointments set.
- You’ll represent GroupHEALTH with Professionalism and ensure that every interaction reflects the company’s values and commitment to excellence, fostering positive relationships with all potential clients.

**YOUR COMPENSATION**

At the time of this posting, the estimated annual base salary for this position is $45,000. Individual compensation within this range is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and education/training. This range reflects the annual base salary only and does not encompass our comprehensive total rewards, benefits, and potential bonuses that we proudly offer.
