We are currently seeking a Supervisor, Corporate Accounting & Treasury who will be accountable for the finance processes for multiple reporting entities including consolidation.

As the Supervisor, Corporate Accounting & Treasury, you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of full cycle accounting.
- Review of full cycle corporate accounting entries, ensuring compliance with Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE).
- Responsible for performing advanced financial accounting entries including overhead allocations, financial instruments, and tax structure
- Performance of day-to-day treasury functions including approval of EFT, ACH, wire and cheque requests and recurring Canadian tax remittances.
- Manage reporting, setup, and analysis of all new lease agreements
- Complete quarterly bank covenant calculations and compliance certificates
- Manage letter of credit and bonding requirements for the business
- Assist in completion of 13 week cashflow and working capital management
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations and analysis on corporate cost centres.
- Manage monthly state tax reporting and remittances for Texas and Colorado
- Develop policy and process documentation for key areas of the business; collaborate with leaders across the business to achieve buy in and support of these policies.
- Work with Corporate Groups to complete annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
- Develop and maintain robust internal reporting processes, enhancing the quality, accuracy and timeliness of financial information provided to management and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information, streamline month-end processes, and identify areas for improvement.
- Supervise and develop finance staff, fostering a positive team environment that promotes professional growth and continuous learning.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Accounting Designation (CPA; CPA, CA).
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in full cycle accounting
- Possess a good understanding of ASPE with demonstrated knowledge and ability in researching and documenting new accounting guidance and accounting treatment of issues.
- Oracle/Smartview expertise (desirable).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Proven leadership and team management experience, with a focus on employee development and motivation.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
