Accounting Supervisor

Pembina Pipeline Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Supervisor to join their team in Calgary, AB. As a key member of the Transmission Business Unit, this role will be responsible for ensuring complete, timely, and accurate revenue and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee revenue accounting activities, including the month-end close process and conducting financial review and analysis.
- Review and analyze current month revenue in comparison to budget and forecasts, including monthly management narrative distribution to the Executive.
- Prepare and review supporting documents for quarterly regulatory reporting as required by FERC and CER.
- Liaise with key members of the Business Unit, including Logistics and Commercial Services, to ensure the accuracy of invoices.
- Champion process improvement and maintain internal control documentation.
- University Degree in Finance or Accounting along with 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, and a professional accounting designation.
- Experience with SAP/BPC is considered an asset, including the ability to create ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Exceptional leadership skills and superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes, including developing, documenting, and implementing processes and procedures.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with a focus on customer service.
