Construction Safety Nova Scotia (CSNS) is an industry founded and funded membership based not-for-profit association focused on improving Occupational Health & Safety outcomes in the construction industry. Driven by our values of relationships, quality, and innovation and with the support of the Board of Directors, the CSNS team enables a safer construction industry by engaging with the membership organizations to reduce injuries and improve safety culture. CSNS provides subsidized training and services with qualified, competent, and engaging safety professionals. Working with diverse construction employers & employees, youth, and people throughout Nova Scotia, CSNS enables stakeholders to develop the knowledge, values, and skills needed for safer work practices. As leaders in Occupational Health & Safety, and through collaboration with industry partners, CSNS is making Nova Scotia safer.
**OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE**
Under the direction of and reporting to Facilities and Product Services Team Lead, the Product Services Administrator fulfills the timely production and distribution of high-quality training materials. This role is also responsible for maintaining training material inventory levels, addressing day to day quality issues, conducting point-of-sale transactions, and ensuring the availability of technical equipment for seamless training sessions. Additionally, providing exemplary customer service, including prompt and professional handling of inquiries, completing training purchases, and gathering customer feedback for continual product enhancement, are key aspects of this position. As required, the Product Services Administrator also provides operational and project support to the Facilities and Product Services Team Lead and the Director, Finance and Human Resources. The Product Services Administrator supports and promotes the Mission, Vision, Mandate of the Association.
**EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS**
- A minimum of a community college diploma or certificate in a relevant discipline (OHS, Business, etc.)
- 2+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and other collaborative tools.
- Working knowledge of the provincial Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations preferred.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- **PRODUCT SERVICES, SALES, SHIPPING AND RECEIVING**_
- Fulfills Safety Services training orders and produces training manuals, guides, and instructional materials, according to the training schedule and ensuring high-quality printing and binding to create professional and user-friendly resources for course facilitators for regular course materials, course content for demand member requests, online orders and other Safety Services requests.
- Executes timely and precise printing of training materials, meticulously preparing, and assembling training books and binders to ensure seamless facilitation of training courses while promptly addressing any ad hoc or urgent requests.
- Works with the Curriculum Development Specialist to ensure changes to curriculum as well as new course offerings are reflected in content preparation.
- Checks and ensures accuracy and consistency of printed training materials, addressing any potential printing errors or discrepancies before final distribution to course facilitators.
- Confirms required inventory of training materials and equipment ensuring course facilitators have timely access to content and tools to deliver CSNS training.
- Identifies quality issues and escalates to the Facilities and Product Service Team Lead, as appropriate.
