**The Role**

In this dynamic role, you'll leverage your insurance expertise to enhance and ensure the performance of our cutting-edge, fully customizable Enterprise Insurance Management Platform. Working closely with a passionate Product Team, you’ll play a key role in driving comprehensive end-to-end testing to deliver top-tier solutions for our insurance clients, helping to shape the future of insurance technology.

This position can be performed from our office in London, Ontario or remotely within Canada. Remote-based employees may occasionally be asked to travel to our office for meetings or team-building events.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Leverage insurance expertise to ensure our software is tailored to meet client needs and exceed expectations
- Break down complex business and system requirements to design impactful User Acceptance Test (UAT) scenarios and drive seamless end-to-end testing
- Partner with stakeholders to craft and execute robust test cases, ensuring every detail is accounted for - from requirements analysis to defect resolution - for flawless product delivery
- Support the Product Owner in implementation planning, ensuring critical business validations are conducted across all operational areas
- Perform a range of tests, including user acceptance, functional, regression, and usability, to ensure product quality at every stage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share testing progress, prioritize and resolve defects, and provide timely project updates, ensuring smooth delivery from start to finish
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned

**Required Qualifications & Skills**
- Proven experience working in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry and/or a Professional Certification in Insurance (CIP, FCIP, RIBO)
- Knowledge of current insurance industry trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Good organizational and time management skills with an ability to complete multiple concurrent assignments
- Ability to gain in-depth knowledge of software products and learn new technologies quickly
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to meet team and client needs

**Nice To Have**
- Experience with the Cognition+ platform
- Software quality designation (ISTQB)
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in User Acceptance Testing Analysis or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and work experience
- Hands-on knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle principles and Quality Assurance methodologies/best practices
- Experience in the design of detailed functional and regression test plans, and the creation and execution of test scripts
- Knowledge and experience in agile project methodologies, such as scrum
- Experience with documentation/defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Confluence
