Circuit Stream is a leader in future skills education in game development, game design, software development, product management and other tech training for adults and teens. We build world-class educational services that focus on making it easier for people and organizations around the world to learn the skills needed to leverage the power of emerging technology.

We are looking for a full time Career Coach with tech career coaching background to join our Student Outcomes team in Calgary. The person in this role will run career workshops and regular 1:1 career coaching sessions with our Bootcamp students, plan and execute regular career events with industry speakers and track and report on student outcomes for job search, interview and hiring metrics. This individual will also collaborate closely with the Business Development Manager to align coaching efforts with current job opportunities and hiring trends.
- This position will be based in our Calgary office (Beltline 1st Street and 11th Ave S.W.) with a _**_fully_**_ _**_in-office_**_ _working model (5-days per week in-office)._

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Student Career Coaching**
- Provide personalized 1-on-1 career coaching to students, helping them identify strengths, career goals, and potential career paths.
- Assist students with resume building, LinkedIn profiles, and personal branding, ensuring they are ready to enter the job market.

**Career Development Programs & Workshops**
- Create and deliver structured career development programs aligned with industry needs and trends, tailoring them to students in different bootcamps.
- Design experiential learning opportunities such as mock interviews, networking strategies, and practical job search tactics.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to align coaching efforts with current job opportunities and hiring trends.

**Outcomes Tracking & Reporting**
- Track student progress, documenting key career milestones such as interview invitations, job offers, and placement rates.
- Report on key student outcomes weekly to ensure alignment with the overall program goals, with the aim of achieving a 50% employment rate within 90 days post-course and 100% within 180 days.
- Identify trends and feedback from students to refine and improve coaching practices.

**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**

**Education**
- Degree: Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, or related fields. A Master’s degree or relevant coaching certification is preferred.

**Experience**
- At least 3 years of experience in career coaching or student advising, preferably in a technology-focused or educational setting.
- Demonstrated success in coaching students or professionals in career transitions and job placements.
- Familiarity with tech industry career paths and knowledge of job market trends.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building trust and rapport with students.
- Ability to coach across a diverse student population, with varying needs and career goals.
- Excellent presentation skills for delivering workshops and career development programs.
- Data management skills for tracking student outcomes and progress.
