**Job Summary**:

CSIS offers opportunities for students to gain valuable experience with the possibility to return for multiple placements in different areas.

Students will be given the opportunity to cultivate their skills and knowledge by being paired with experienced employees who will provide feedback during the work term. They will have the opportunity to broaden their knowledge and experience before choosing a career specialization.

CSIS is looking for individuals with any of the following language proficiency:

- Arabic
- Mandarin
- Russian

Students will assist with tasks including but not limited to the following:

- Research, analyze, interpret, and evaluate information using a variety of databases.
- Interpretation or translation
- Write factual summaries on specific issues.
- Maintain various databases.

**Education**:
Registered full time in a College Diploma or Undergraduate degree programs.

**Experience**:

- Experience may have been acquired through formal and informal settings (e.g. school, volunteer work experience or projects)
- Experience in research and writing analytical papers
- Experience in working in a team environment. (asset)
- Experience translating from a foreign language to English and/or French (asset)

Applicants must be registered as a full-time, post-secondary student in an accredited academic institution recognized in Canada. Priority consideration may be given to those enrolled in an accredited co-op/internship program.
