**Customer Service/Embroidery Assistant**

**Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Order entry, customer service.
- Take and complete regular sales orders including information on customizations.
- Ensure the front show room is organized, neat, tidy, and clean.
- Answer phones professionally, handling customer service requests and forwarding calls as required.
- Handle customer service requests including discussing orders, shipments, service and/or pricing.
- Liaise with the Embellishment team on embroidery orders and provide clarity on details of work to be done.
- Liaise with the Distribution center team on shipping of customer orders, back orders.
- Handling of embellishment administration including customer quotes, crest ordering, inventory control.
- When required, assist in shipping and receiving, and warehouse functions.
**Education and Experience**
- Minimum of Grade 12 education.
- Some post-secondary education and/or related work experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years in an office function.
- Above-average computer skills/knowledge - you must be proficient in using a variety of computer programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel and be comfortable with learning our internal ERP system.
- Customer service skills.
**Key Competencies**
- Detail oriented - accuracy is extremely important in this role.
- Efficiency - you must work efficiently and effectively to keep up in this fast-paced environment.
- Organized - time management skills are very important as this is a busy environment where you are handling multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- Multi-Tasking - you will be doing multiple tasks throughout the day & need to be able to manage these effectively & efficiently.
- Communication - you must be able to communicate effectively with staff at all levels of the organization as well as customers.
- Problem solving skills - you must be able to identify mistakes and bring issues forward to your supervisor as required.
- You must be able to handle paperwork effectively.
- You must have your own means of transportation to/from work.
