**About JCMortgages.ca and the Role**:
**Social Media Responsibilities**:

- Create and maintain a dynamic social media calendar aligned with JC's brand messaging and industry trends
- Craft engaging video content and posts within brand guidelines
- Monitor industry news for relevant content and new platform features and trends
- Collaborate on educational short-form videos across platforms
- Convey JC’s brand personality through daily stories and innovative strategies
- Track social media analytics and change strategies as needed to reach targets
- Experience with managing and growing brand or influencer social media accounts is a plus._

**Digital Marketing Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate on industry news updates to ignite mortgage transactions and keep clients up-to-date with their mortgage options
- Execute client-focused giveaways for satisfaction and referrals
- Maintain an organized database with proper use of Tags, Audiences, Segments)
- Design and adjust monthly or quarterly ad sets for social media advertising goals
- Create educational presentations that engage key stakeholders
- Experience with MailChimp or similar platforms is beneficial._

**Event Management Responsibilities**:

- Assist with and/or lead planning and executing multiple predetermined events throughout the year, ensuring seamless coordination with all external parties (venues, sponsors, charities, vendors, clients, industry partners, etc.)
- Maintain event plans, timelines, RSVPs, and optimize efforts for successful events
- Handle logistics for all events (RSVPs, delivery routes, etc.)
- Effectively covering events leading up to and on event day (social media, simple videography/photography, etc.)
- Design and print event-related marketing materials
- Create opportunities for speaking at events, podcasts, video collaborations, etc.

**Other Responsibilities**:

- Design monthly print materials for B2B referrals
- Submit and coordinate media features (article features, award nominations, etc.)
- Coordinate the preparation and delivery of JC Home Gifts for clients (closing and referral gifts) including preparing cards and mailing labels, tying bows on gifts, and using a route optimization software
- Participate in team volunteering nights
- Assist with occasional office errands and personal errands
- Update the website using WordPress and assist with technological transitions as needed (new CRM coming soon) and outsourcing talent when needed
- Manage inventory and order office supplies
- Designing and/or making edits to print marketing materials

**IMPORTANT INFORMATION**:

- Full-time, Permanent, in-office position located in Kitchener-Waterloo area
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
- Occasional work outside regular hours for JC Events
- Community volunteering with JC Staff is mandatory (quarterly)
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Communications or related fields required
- Salary is negotiable based on experience
