Bel-Air Lexus and Bel-Air Toyota are looking for a FULL-TIME WARRANTY CLERK
**Position Overview**:
The Automotive Warranty Clerk is responsible for processing warranty claims for automotive repairs and ensuring all claims are submitted accurately and in a timely manner. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments, such as service and parts. The Warranty Clerk will play a key role in ensuring efficient and effective management of warranty claims in compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and submit warranty claims to manufacturers and suppliers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company and manufacturer standards for Bel-Air Toyota and Bel-Air Lexus
- Maintain comprehensive records of all warranty claims, including parts returned, and repairs performed under warranty.
- Monitor the status of all warranty claims, including processing and payment times, and follow up on any delays or issues with manufacturers.
- Liaise with customers regarding the status of their warranty claims and provide timely updates as required.
- Work closely with service advisors, technicians, and the parts department to gather necessary information for processing warranty claims.
- Manage the return of defective parts to manufacturers for warranty claims, ensuring proper documentation and credits are received.
- Stay up to date with manufacturer policies, procedures, and guidelines for warranty claims, ensuring full compliance.
- Generate periodic reports on claim submissions, pending approvals, and warranty reimbursements to ensure claim efficiency and resolution.
- Update the used car log daily.
- Assist receptionist with answering and directing all incoming phone calls
- Ensure all trade-ins are put under Bel-air Lexus’ name.
- License all wholesalers.
**Requirements**:
- Prior experience as a Warranty Clerk, Service Advisor, or in a related automotive role is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with dealership management software (DMS) and warranty management systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
