In this role, you will be on the front line as the primary point of contact for various customer accounts including large chains as well as independent retailers and other distributors.

**Who we are**:

- Specialty food importer specializing in mid to high end Italian food products selling to retailers and food service industry across Canada. Our clients consist of specialty food stores, large chains, food service distributors, and HRI
- Growing company with significant growth year over year.
- Product catalogue comprises of specialty Italian food products: pasta, cheese, deli, marinated vegetables and olives, oils, vinegars, cookies, jams, etc.
- Most products are exclusively distributed by us across Canada.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Travel throughout the Greater Toronto Area to call on accounts and book orders.
- Generate sales through a variety of accounts including independent stores and large chain stores.
- Obtain new customers through understanding of the food industry.
- Expand existing sales by understanding each of our customers’ unique needs to identify opportunities to maximize growth.
- Negotiate promotion offers with clients including tastings and flyer promotions
- Proactively plan for and execute sales plans.
