The position has several layers of responsibility from Functional (run and maintain our King Street office) to Creative (Implement people focused initiatives to encourage our community / culture) so experience from Service Industries / Retail and Hospitality are welcomed but not required, as is prior experience of working within digital / tech companies. What we really value is a self-starter who understands the importance of our office being a welcoming hub for not only the 'day job' but for connecting with and building our Menti community.

**Functional Responsibilities**:

- Day to Day management of our office including but not limited to:

- Act as the face of Mentimeter to external visitors
- Communal areas
- Working spaces
- Break-out areas
- Landlord relations
- General look and feel of our office
- Furnishings
- Greenery
- 'Vibe'
- Office equipment
- Order and manage office tech
- Order and manage new furniture and furnishings
- Manage general office supplies
- Work as POC for all office related queries and issues
- Own our space and what goes into it:

- Own supplier relations
- Own our Food & Beverage service
- Source and manage local F&B vendors in line with Menti's needs.
- Order and manage snacks, drinks and misc pantry items
- Order and manage our breakfast and lunch offerings
- Manage and continuously evaluate our lunches and other services we provide

**Skills & Requirements**

We would like you to have:

- Prior Experience within Customer facing roles
- Experience from the hospitality or service industry.
- Experience within Office Management teams
- Experience of dealing with office related problems
- Prior experience of designing / managing communal spaces
- Proactive and takes ownership of responsibilities quickly.
- Able to prioritise and prioritise tasks and responsibilities in a changing environment.
- Able to thoughtfully take direction and constructive feedback.
- Diligent, and process-driven, with an eye for detail.
- Eligible to work in Toronto, Canada

Nice to have:

- A creative mind with the ability to create a fun, inclusive and diverse environment
- Prior experience of working within People or Workspace teams
- Understanding of the Toronto F&B vendor landscape.

**NOTE**: This is a hybrid position (3+ days from our office in downtown Toronto)
