**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Financial Coordinator is an integral component of the department of Finance. The Financial Coordinator will supervise the management of monetary flow, treasury, and reporting. The Financial Coordinator is a vital member of our finance team, collaborating closely with AR/AP and the General Manager.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide guidance to management on how to address cost concerns.
- Create and evaluate budgets, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Make regular financial projections.
- A review of actual earnings vs forecasted earnings.
- Conduct both long-term and short-term feasibility analyses.
- Maintain the project budget and ensure accurate expense and invoicing tracking.
- Rectifying invoicing discrepancies and communicating results to the project manager and client.
- General ledger transaction analysis.
- Develop economic justifications for the MPA.
- Must ensure timely and accurate financial reporting both internally and externally.
- Daily / monthly responsibilities for A/R and A/P.
- Develop, execute, and maintain the business plan.
- Design, implement, and continue to maintain an approved process.
- Analysis of fixed assets and depreciation.
- Journal entries.
- WSIB, H.S.T., E.H.T.
- Billing for miscellaneous services.
- Benefits plan invoicing reimbursements.
- Control Cash flow.
- Manage petty cash by ensuring adequate funds are available in the appropriate currencies.
- Ensure accounting policies comply with relevant accounting standards and that policies are followed.
- Ensure and accomplice all the tax obligations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and provide them with all necessary data.
- Maintain project budgets in collaboration with the project manager(s).
- Other responsibilities and initiatives assigned by your manager.

**EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
- Advanced expertise in using Excel and ERP knowledge.
- Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets, accounting software and ERP software.
- Customer service orientation.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- A College or University degree in Cost Accounting, CMA or CGA.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an accounting supervisory or controllership role.
- Minimum 5 years automotive experience.

**EQUIPMENT AND/OR PRODUCT**:

- Computers, printers, telephone, photocopier, and fax machines.
- Proficient with the entire Microsoft Office suite.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- Office areas and manufacturing environment.
- Travel required in and out of the country as defined by project requirements and as requested by management.

**SAFETY AND HOUSEKEEPING**:

- Responsible to adhere to all Health and Safety programs in accordance with the OHSA.
- Follow and ensure the company’s procedures regarding safety rules and regulations are followed throughout the plant.
- Ensure that you work and operate equipment according to the safety rules and regulations.
- Ensure that your department is clean, tide, organized and a safe workplace at all times.
