We are a busy medical office within a Family Health Organization, providing primary medical care to a large, small town / rural practice.

We are currently seeking an Office Assistant/Administrator for a permanent position, 28
- 35h/week.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- Managing health information thru a comprehensive EMR system
- Scheduling and communicating appointments
- Calling patients
- Scanning/fax documents
- OHIP and 3rd party billing
- Prioritizing multiple tasks as assigned
- Covering the FHO clinics when necessary.
- Completion of a recognized post-secondary Diploma in Medical Office

Administration or equivalent
- Familiar with Telus PSSuite EMR or other Electronic Medical Records
- Experience in a paperless office environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Have clinical experience: BP checks, baby weights, etc.
- Familiar with OHIP Billing and Fee Schedules, 3rd Party Billing
- Possess cultural awareness
- Awareness of gender diversity
- Good interpersonal oral and written communication
- IPAC core competencies
- Full Covid-19 vaccination.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
