Company Description
Motor Express Montreal is local transport company servicing the Greater Montreal Area specializing in LTL services.
**Job Description**:
- Maintaining vehicle maintenance files and following up with Brokers
- Payroll entry for drivers
- Office Administration such as petty cash, supplies, training, banking, etc.
- Compiles and computes freight rates and other charges for transportation services according to rate tables and tariff regulations.
- Performs reception duties by receiving calls, determining nature of business and directing accordingly.
- Entering pickup calls
- Contact customer to book delivery appointments
- Research and investigate complaints concerning billing or service rendered referring complaints of service to designated departments.
- Adjusts errors and complaints where applicable.
- Tracing of freight which includes looking for missing freight, looking up P.O.D.'s and B/L's, finding out when a shipment was delivered.
- Miscellaneous customers report and any other related projects as required.
- OS&D duties by identifying over, short and astray freight and trying to rectify the problem.
- Other duties may be assigned
**Qualifications**:
- G-suite/MS office - Excel, Word knowledge required
- LTL 400 (AS400) knowledge considered an asset
- Bilingual (English and French)
- Effective Communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Organized - good time management skills
- Strong attention to details
- Diplomacy, quick thinking, patience, and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Data entry skills
- The ability to meet deadlines.
