**Position Overview**:
As an innovative and intrapreneurial employee experience champion, a people performance optimizer, and an accomplished business leader, this is the job you have been waiting for
The Director, Employee Experience, Culture, and Talent Solutions is accountable to ensure that SE Health is, and remains, the BEST place to work. This position exists to make sure that every employee has an exceptional experience working for SE; where they feel valued, connected, engaged, and inspired to deliver the best possible care or service. The incumbent will have a unique opportunity to drive business performance through the design, development, and sustained delivery of flexible people-focused programs; and the indirect support for the delivery of high-impact HR services. The role will deliver program and solution support designed to define industry leading next generation people programs.
The position is a key enabler in the realization of our _People Everything_ strategy; which involves taking a continuous improvement and user design approach to employee experience where we ask and truly listen to our people, where we co-design and co-prioritize initiatives to ensure their needs are met, and where we strive to ensure that our people receive exemplary service in all of their interactions with the organization. We take this approach because it is the right thing to do for our people, and because we know that when we meet their needs, our people can accomplish anything.
**About Us**:
At SE, we love what we do. Every day, we bring hope and happiness to clients, homes, and communities across Canada. We treat each person with dignity and love, like our own family; we build empathy; and we do the right thing. We are always inspired to make a difference. As a not-for-profit social enterprise, we invest in our communities to bring hope and happiness to millions of Canadians, including our people. We’re a great place to work, and we hope you’ll join our team.
**Who you are**:
Your positive enthusiasm is infectious. You challenge the status quo. You find solutions to problems. You go the extra mile to exceed client’s expectations. You get things done the right way. You represent our organization with passion, commitment and by demonstrating our values of Life Care, Love and Work with Purpose. You are a team player. You have fun while getting the work done.
You’re a profoundly progressive HR Professional, with strong technical, skills, an aptitude to develop and affect strong relationships, and a track-record accelerating business outcomes through evidence-based people programs and services. You love data, with a proven ability to mobilize people data to drive decision-making, prioritize resource allocation, and enable outcomes. You simplify complexity, compel action, and role-model healthy collaboration and action-orientation.
**Why Join SE?**
- **Flexibility and Support.** Our SE Flex program is leading edge and unique. It helps give you the flexibility to balance your life. In this hybrid role you’ll primarily work-from-home with the ability to control your schedule, with flex days that help you to control the work-life integration point. You’ll be supported with an environment, a culture, and a leadership team that exist to help you thrive and to be your best.
- **Make a difference.** SE Health is a Social Enterprise, which means that your efforts will directly contribute to the work the organization does to improve the lives of all Canadians. You’ll be joining an innovative organization where your ideas will always be heard, and where you’ll be supported to advance what you do _and_ how you do it.
- **Develop yourself with SE.** We have education bursaries, Tuition Assistance Programs, continuing education, training, and professional development to support your life-long learning and enhance both your skills and your capabilities. You’ll have an opportunity to develop through learning, through experience (successes _and_ redo’s), and with the support of fantastic colleagues; AND you’ll have an opportunity to grow your career as we expand the reach and touch that this incredible organization has across geographies, business lines, and even industries
- **Competitive Compensation**. Our Total Rewards package includes a competitive salary, group benefits, RRSP pension, Performance Incentive, and exclusive perks/discounts available only to SE Health staff
**Some of the really cool things you’ll be accountable for**:
- Lead the development and launch of our next generation employee experience program; an evidence-based real-time approach to understand employee engagement in an actionable way
- Act as a custodian of our desired culture, working with amazing colleagues to further our current and future culture as a major enabler of our people, and as un-replicable competitive advantage for our organization
- Sustain and evolve our award-winning Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Ant
