**Position Overview**:
This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the Procurement Manager. The primary role of this position is general maintenance and repairs. The role is also responsible for groundskeeping and supporting equipment installation.
Some overtime may be required, and training will be provided.
**Responsibilities**:
- Building maintenance (i.e. lights, heating, air conditioning, compressor room upkeep, pest control, gates, signage, chemical dumping, painting, renovations, etc.).
- Groundskeeping (i.e. driveway and parking lot repair, walkway clearing, salting, snow blowing, trash collection, etc.).
- Maintain windows, bathrooms, floors, ceiling tiles, exhaust fans, etc. and inform cleaning staff of any issues.
- Yard maintenance (i.e. mowing, trimming, landscaping, flower bed upkeep).
- Assist with equipment maintenance and installation.
- Perform minor and general building repairs (i.e. roof leaks, floor or ceiling tile, toilet, and faucet repair, wall damage, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
- Help set up for events, town halls, group activities, tool or item pickup and drop off, etc.
- Other related duties, activities, and projects as assigned or required.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools (i.e. hammer, saw, drill, hand-tools, etc.).
- Knowledge of how to carry out general repairs.
- Ability to read imperial measurements.
- Ability to follow verbal or written instructions and work under little or no supervision.
- Ability to climb or work from a ladder, balance, reach, crouch, kneel, stand for long periods of time, and some heavy lifting, as needed.
