Are you a talented and motivated individual with a passion for business administration, and specifically marketing? We are seeking a proactive and creative individual to join our team as a Communications Administration Assistant. This full-time summer role is specifically focused on creating engaging LinkedIn posts and promotional education videos to showcase our expertise and services, as well as assisting the Administrative Manager with other business administration tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the owners, engineers, and administrative staff to develop and implement LinkedIn content strategies that highlight our electrical engineering projects, industry insights, and thought leadership.
- Create compelling and informative LinkedIn posts that effectively communicate our services, achievements, and latest developments.
- Conduct research on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market demands to optimize content for maximum reach and engagement.
- Assist in video production, including scripting, filming, editing, and post-production tasks, while ensuring technical accuracy and clarity of content.
- Monitor and analyze social media metrics to evaluate the success of marketing campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in filing and sorting documents into the electronic filing system.
- Assist in receiving and sorting shipments.
- Assist in setup of new computer equipment and software.
- Assist in other general office administrative duties.

**Requirements**:

- Must possess a phone capable of recording high-quality videos (iPhone 14 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, Google Pixel 7 Pro, Sony Xperia Pro I)
- Must have prior general administrative and IT experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to simplify technical concepts for a non-technical audience.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn best practices and a passion for crafting engaging social media content.
- Basic knowledge of video editing software and a willingness to learn and improve video production skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas to attract and engage our target audience.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- A collaborative team player with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with ERP software such as SAP, ARIBA, and Oracle an asset
- Familiarity with HSE protocols and Alberta OHSA legislation an asset
