The**_ Procurement and Contract Analyst _**will work on both strategic and operational aspects of the Anaplan procurement program. This includes working with our internal customers and external partners to ensure operational excellence and employee experience in supporting and driving initiatives to lead the procure-to-pay process. The analyst works with our suppliers across multiple categories and works closely throughout the agreement lifecycle to ensure the highest level of services are being delivered. The position will require working closely with cross-functional teams of Finance, Legal, IT, Security, Privacy, etc.

**Your Impact**
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their requirements, compile specifications, facilitate supplier selection via RFPs/RFQs, and negotiate agreements; support clear communication of the procurement services, policies, and approval process.
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet the company's current and future needs, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Partner with legal to advise stakeholders on the terms and risks in supplier contracts; review terms and conditions of all new awards, modifications, and sub-agreements.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure competitive pricing.
- Ensure policies and procedures comply with all pertinent laws, rules, and regulations; and streamline administrative processing to ensure proper documentation of all procurement activities.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring all contractual obligations are met by both parties.
- Maintain an organized and accessible system of digital records for all contracts and procurement documents, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily retrievable.
- Provide general support in area of contract review, negotiations, monitoring, evaluation, and close-out; review and analyze justification for new and amended contracts; draft, modify and/or terminate contracts; research and interpret contract provisions, remedies, penalties, and compliance terms to stakeholders.

**Your Qualifications**

This position requires exemplary communication skills; demonstrable initiative, creativity, and flexibility; ability to work independently and effectively in groups; excellent writing skills; and strong organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
- 2-3 years related experience in procurement, accounting, or international operations
- Willingness to work flexible hours that accommodate international employees, as needed
- Strong analytical skills and aptitude for details
- Experience developing and/or delivering training to diverse audiences
- Ability to meet deadlines and set priorities, particularly if there are time constraints
- Experience in Procure-to-Pay process that spans markets globally
- Preference: proven experience in global procurement with roles including strategic sourcing and procurement
- Program/project management experience and/or certification preferred
- Requires a strong knowledge of procurement practices and techniques
- Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Conduct spend analysis and identify areas for cost reduction
- Able to train and educate users in new processes, policies, and procedures or technologies
- Must be able to achieve demanding deadlines without requiring constant follow-up
- Able to reorder priorities on short notice and adapt to changing requirements
- Ability to work non-standard US hours (PST, EST, IST) when necessary to communicate with our global teams.
- Serves as a primary liaison with Anaplan's internal customers and is the first point of contact for issues and questions related to supplier-provided web-based registration tools.
