**Fulfillment Manager**

This new position is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company’s sales processes with a view to satisfying customer requirements and ensuring a positive buying experience. It entails working with people throughout the company to fulfill sales orders, address issues, improve processes and analyze information that leads to insights and improvements. The position reports to the VP, Operations with dotted-line reporting to the President. Responsibilities include:

- Coordinate with sales teams, maintain order tracking and monitor DIFOT (delivery in full, on time) of orders from various sales channels (EDI, marketplace, e-commerce).
- Work with sales teams, Supply Chain Manager and Warehouse Manager to optimize sales order fulfillment activities and processes. Heavy emphasis on performance monitoring and improvement of service quality.
- Maintain and monitor sales management information such as pricing and discounting.
- Ensure compliance with US and European regulatory requirements related to product sales especially in relation to new product introductions.
- Undertake a wide range of sales, customer and other in-depth analyses involving complex data sets. Contribute to sales forecasting and demand planning.
- Contribute to the continuing development of the company’s ERP system.
- Develop and recommend performance-related metrics.
- Manage the work flow, performance and career development of a small team.

Qualifications:
At Michel Germain, a desire to learn is as important as skills, education and experience. The following skillset is highly valued but we will also develop someone with the right amount of curiosity, energy, adaptability and compatibility.
- “Control tower” experience in overseeing and guiding the sales process from order
input to successful delivery, preferably in a retail environment.
- Experience in working with sales teams, various sales channels and various markets,
ideally including the US and Europe.
- Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions.
- Ability to analyze and interpret corporate information with a view to gaining insight
into sales activities or assessing success. Experience with sales forecasting and
demand planning is an asset.
- Knowledge of US (MoCRA) and European (CPNP) regulatory requirements.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems or concepts. Specific
experience with NetSuite is highly desirable.
- Ability to work as the manager of a group or as a contributor to a team.

Salary & Location:
Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience. This position will be based at the company’s office in Toronto.
