Solutions Design Lead, Extended Workforce Solutions

**Minimum qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in management consulting, business strategy, corporate advisory, commercial management, vendor management, procurement, or supply chain areas in the Industry.
- 3 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
**Preferred qualifications**:
- MBA degree.
- 3 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience in leading business strategy or program management teams in complex and matrix environments.
- Experience with thought leadership in strategic projects that have had an impact on business operations across international markets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to extract insights from complex, disparate and often unstructured datasets.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to take complex, ambitious topics and create narratives for different audiences.
**About the job**:
gTech’s Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) team enables PAs to effectively and efficiently scale their outsourced operations while managing risk. Our goal is to enable our businesses to make informed decisions to put the right talent in the right locations. We assist with extended workforce planning and strategy, and provide tools to support PAs in managing their extended workforce infrastructure. We balance between optimizing extended workforce engagements and making sure extended workforce policies and guidelines are followed.
The Solution Design team is a lean team of strategic, cross-functional thinkers that understand PA needs including risks and operational constraints and rethink xWS solutions within vertical teams. Additionally, the team incubates, pilots and rolls-out large scale transformations, and leads change management across the organization. In this role, you will combine problem-solving and thought leadership to drive overall xWS solution design in the areas of xWF (external workforce i.e. TVCs). You will work cross-functionally to rethink and shape xWS with PAs. You will also present the key insights and recommendations to xWS and gTech leadership and act as a trusted advisor for them to run the business.

**Responsibilities**:
- Serve as a thought partner and trusted advisor to the xWS organization’s executive leadership, helping to land, rethink and shape the future of Extended Workforce Solutions.
- Design Solutions that enable our partners/PAs to succeed in their business objectives by optimizing operational costs, identifying efficiencies and helping to proactively mitigate risk and compliance across Alphabet.
- Identify opportunities to optimize operational costs across Google through building functional relationships with PAs and Vendor Management Organizations (VMOs) to influence extended workforce specific commercial, cost, category, and supplier management strategy.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders and leaders to gather data and conduct business analyses with effective project communication and management.
- Identify and engage extended stakeholders proactively on extended workforce solutions and gain their buy-in to utilize the services being designed.
