**Chief Academic Director Job Summary**

SFA Academy Incorporated is a newly established company that offers online and in-person classes in Math, English, Chinese, and Science, taught by an industry-experienced faculty team. It also offers career-planning workshops and seminars for students and parents and organizes open competitions locally and internationally.

This is a full time, permanent position.

**Position Summary**

Reporting to the Academy senior management team, the incumbent will contribute to the academic vision, and educational growth of the Academy by taking ownership of all program offerings, and designing and teaching quality curricula. In addition, the CAO will provide strategic and day-to-day administrative and educational leadership to the senior management team. The incumbent will be expected to lead in times of change, have the ability to scale academic services as needed, and ensure academic integrity and regulatory compliance for all programs at all times.

**Major Job Responsibilities**:

- Leadership and vision for academic program offerings that align with the Academy’s vision
- Development of a multi-year enrollment plan
- Clear accountability measures for all academic faculty
- Relevant and dynamic curricula development
- Experience and competencies in digital / e-Learning program development and delivery
- Faculty teaching skill development
- Assessment of enrolment and program trends
- Regulatory compliance
- Other duties/responsibilities as needed.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Master’s degree in a related field, with a Doctorate preferred
- Ten or more years experience in academic leadership
- Parent / student engagement experience
- E-Learning knowledge and skills
- Knowledge of the BC curriculum
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (second language an asset)
- Strong interpersonal skills with a range of populations
- Exceptional change management skills
- Superior organization and problem resolution skills
- Strong computer software skills
- Self-starter and results-oriented
- Team player, with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a growth mindset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
