The Director of Operations is responsible for directing and overseeing the daily operations of some non-core and support functions as directed by the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

The incumbent is to support COO in ensuring smooth operations of Mon Sheong Foundation (“MSF”).

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, support and guidance to non-core and support functions as assigned by COO;
  • Provide leadership and input for strategic decisions and processes in support of and conjunction with COO;
  • Work collaboratively with COO on formulating and developing vision, mission, strategic plans, processes and procedures and making recommendations;
  • Manage and oversee the assigned non-core and support functions activities;
  • Work closely with COO and key stakeholders on public relations issues, complaint resolutions and communications strategy;
  • Oversee the establishment of annual performance goals and objectives, performance evaluation, budgets and allocation of resources;
  • Lead and support key standing committees and the Board pertaining to effective operations of the various units;
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related fields;
  • At least 5 years of management experience, preferable in public or non-profit environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage key constituent relationships;
  • Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strategic, innovative, forward looking and creative thinking;
  • Superior project management and administration experiences;
  • Bilingual – English and Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin as asset).
