**Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Greeting and welcoming patients upon arrival in a professional manner.
- Ensuring that the waiting area remains in excellent condition at all times.
- Scheduling patient appointments as required to optimize flow and minimize downtime.
- Collecting and accurately recording patients' personal and medical information.
- Verifying payment methods, including but not limited to patients' health insurance coverage.
- Tracking and ordering inventory.
- Preparing treatment rooms prior to appointments, as needed.
- Managing receivable and payable accounts and maintain financial records.
- Other duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- 1-2 years administrative experience, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Post-secondary education in medical office / business administration considered an asset.
- Demonstrated computer proficiency (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PMP, Telus Health, Blue Cross, Lumino, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing workload demands with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Able to work evenings and weekends.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication and patient advocacy skills.
- Experience with social media platforms including, but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook and Twitter considered an asset.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the principles of patient family centered care.

**Work Hours**:

- Flexible hours pending work demands.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
