**POSITION OVERVIEW**
As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and execution of dishes, assisting the Sous Chefs in a range of tasks from prep work to final plating. Your focus will be on mastering the basics of our culinary operations while contributing positively to our team's dynamic and learning from senior chefs.
**RESPONSIBLITIES**
KITCHEN OPERATIONS
- Assist CDPs in daily kitchen operations, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Follow recipes and cooking procedures with precision to maintain the quality and standards of our dishes.
- Help in unpacking and organizing kitchen deliveries, maintaining an orderly and efficient flow of ingredients.
CULINARY SKILL DEVELOPMENT
- Actively engage in kitchen operations to learn and absorb cooking techniques and culinary knowledge.
- Participate in regular knowledge sessions and culinary workshops to enhance your skills and understanding of our culinary ethos.
- Demonstrate eagerness to learn and take on new challenges, showing progress in culinary skills and kitchen responsibilities.
- Seek feedback from senior chefs and incorporate it into your practice to improve and evolve within the role.
TEAM COLLABORATION
- Support a positive working environment by collaborating effectively with the kitchen team.
- Contribute to team efforts by taking initiative and helping other team members as needed.
HEALTH & SAFETY
- Adhere to kitchen safety protocols and hygiene standards.
- Ensure cleanliness of work areas and proper handling of all kitchen equipment and utensils.
