**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and organize all mining sales contracts across the company.
- Assist in developing sales and marketing strategies for market opportunities within the company’s capabilities and interests.
- Assist in gathering supply / demand market intelligence including information regarding mining market pricing, logistics, transportation rates and competing products and companies.
- Effectively communicate with management, assuring a continued understanding of domestic company contract opportunities, contract performance and economic evaluation of potential business opportunities. Monitor changes and developments in the mining industry to optimize opportunities for company products, providing technical assistance when appropriate.
- Gather information on competitors, and conduct analysis of sales, prices and methods of distribution and marketing to thoroughly learn about the competition.
- Track and forecast trends in sales and marketing and analyze in detail the data collected to provide management with thorough reports and results.
- Collect and analyze data regarding customer preferences, demographics, buying habits and needs to better identify market potential and factors influencing product demand.
- Perform related work as required.
- Knowledge of coal production, quality, and transportation methods are necessary to understand the needs and concerns of production/operations executives internally, as well as those of the customer.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years
- Sales and marketing, contract negotiations, procurement, trading, or railroad experience.
- Computer and analytical skill are necessary. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Familiar with contracts, contract negotiations and experience in administering key contract components.
- Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.

Typical Physical Demands

Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.
