We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Analyst to join our team at EPCOR. As a Contract Analyst, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying needs to contract execution and supplier relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to ensure optimal results against Supply Chain Management performance metrics.
- Lead the procurement process, including competitive bidding, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
- Manage all aspects of procurement, including contract preparation, award, and administration.
- Establish and maintain supplier relationships and contracts.
- Collect and analyze data to determine the feasibility of establishing long-term supply contracts.
- Assess competition and market opportunities/threats and recommend plans to address.
- Develop recommendations to optimize overall cost, delivery, and quality for assigned procurement portfolio.
- Two-year post-secondary diploma or four-year post-secondary degree in Supply Chain Management or a business-related field.
- Minimum 4 years' extensive experience in category-based buying and negotiating contracts or directly related experience within the field.
- Purchasing Designation (SCMP, C.P.M. or C.P.P.O.) considered an asset.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in public procurement processes, negotiating commercial terms and conditions, and competitive bidding laws.
- Demonstrated ability to apply competitive bidding law, contract law, and risk management tools and skills.
