- Have not previously participated in a NOHFC-funded internship


Tasks required for the job:

- Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video, HTML, etc., posted on platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and X, as well as the organization's websites and other assigned websites) that builds meaningful connections with identified target audiences and encourages responses to calls to action, including through using A.I. (artificial intelligence) tools and automation
- Assist in the development and execution of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Social Media Optimization (SMO) and Social Media Marketing (SMM) strategies through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification for various entities
- Continuously improve performance by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices and then acting on the information
- Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales, etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players, coordinate actions, develop creative assets, and execute campaigns to carry out information-based initiatives as assigned


Qualifications:
To be considered for this opening, you must demonstrate in your cover letter and resume that you have — as a base — competency in four key areas: writing, web development, digital marketing, and digital graphic design.

On-the-job training will be provided to enable you to hone these skills and carry out your duties.

The right fit for this opening will be either

—a recent graduate in a field related to the four key competencies (such as journalism, business marketing, digital marketing, web development, etc.)

or

—someone with no formal training but who has demonstrated a natural flair for the four key competencies (for example by building their own website, or volunteering to manage social media for a church or charity)

and

—who has less than six months of paid work experience as an Information Officer or a similar role.
