We are looking for a full-time Early Learning Resource Consultant to provide direct support and/or consultation to children and staff in licensed childcare centers, and develop flexible service plans to meet the needs of each child referred for service. This position will work out of our Elliot Lake office and provide support to childcare centers and before/after school programs in Elliot Lake and area.

**What we require from you**:
A diploma or equivalent in Early Childhood Education (as established by Association of Early Childhood Educators of Ontario - AECEO)
A Resource Teacher certificate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., child studies, psychology)
A member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
Minimum there years’ experience working with children with diverse abilities
Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses)
Satisfactory criminal background check and vulnerable sector screen (CPIC)
**What we need from you**:
Knowledgeable of local community resources for children with diverse abilities and their families
Self-motivated and able to work independently, balanced with working collaboratively within a team
Working knowledge of the Ontario Child Care & Early Years Act
Sensitive to linguistic, cultural, social, economic, individual and positional differences among staff, providers and children/families served
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Ability to communicate in both official languages is an asset.
