**Responsibilities**:

- Overseeing the academic and administrative operations of the school
- Developing and implementing a curriculum that aligns with Manitoba Education and Training standards
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and community stakeholders
- Providing leadership and support to teachers and staff in the areas of instruction, assessment, and

professional development
- Ensuring compliance with Manitoba Education and Training policies and regulations
- Representing the school in division and community meetings
- Participating in school accreditation process.
- Managing school budget and resources
- Creating and implementing school-wide policies and procedures

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Education degree (Master of Education degree preferred)
- Bilingual (French/English) will be considered an asset
- Five years of successful classroom teaching experience
- Commitment to inclusive education practices
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Experience in inquiry-based approaches to education
- Understanding of best practices in instructional and leadership
- Understanding of budget management and resource allocation
- Strong intra and interpersonal leadership skills

Every new hire must also complete a satisfactory criminal record check with vulnerable sector search, and a child abuse

registry check before beginning employment as a substitute teacher with Seine River School Division.
