**Job Title: Receptionist**

Department: Administration

Reports To: Operations and Compliance

**Summary of Position**:
Eminent College is seeking a highly organized and personable Receptionist to manage our reception area and provide exceptional customer service. This role requires a professional demeanor, strong multitasking abilities, and a commitment to supporting our educational mission.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Customer Service:_
- Greet and welcome students, clients, staff, and visitors warmly and professionally.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about the college’s programs, services, and schedules.
- Address student and client concerns or complaints efficiently, directing them to the appropriate department when necessary.
- Administrative Duties:_
- Ensure the front desk is tidy and presentable with all necessary materials (e.g., pens, forms, brochures).
- Schedule and confirm appointments for students and clients.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, client appointments, and other relevant data.
- Assist with student enrollment and orientation processes.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Communication:_
- Effectively communicate with students, staff, and faculty members regarding schedules, events, and other relevant information.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of newsletters, flyers, and other communications.
- Support Services:_
- Provide administrative support to staff and faculty as needed.
- Assist in organizing college events, workshops, and seminars.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Education:_
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration or customer service is a plus.
- Experience:_
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role, preferably in an educational or beauty industry setting.
- Skills:_
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with office equipment (e.g., fax machines, printers).
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Basic understanding of financial transactions and record-keeping.
