**SCOPE**
Reporting to the Senior Director, Executive and Professional Programs, the incumbent coordinates academic support services for programs at Continuing Education. They coordinate the day-to-day academic administration related to programs, courses and instructors, students, pedagogical materials, and technology. They coordinate sessional tasks related to programs, students, and instructors. The incumbent coordinates and participates in the recruitment, assessment, and assignments of CCE teaching cadre. The incumbent coordinates the recruitment of mentors and student projects for work-integrated learning.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Coordinate, maintain and standardize the inventory of academic materials, software and technological tools related to CCE educational offerings and recommend pedagogical and technology acquisitions. Liaises with IITS and other relevant departments on technology. Maintain software inventory and ensure CCE compliance regarding licensing. Ensure that relevant academic and pedagogical materials which support CCE offerings are in place and recommend modification of existing tools to ensure this. Create, maintain, and manage learning content on Moodle platform for CCE programs.
- Recommend sessional schedule of departmental activities; prepares and schedules departmental meetings. Coordinate curricular and extra-curricular program activities, orientations, and events for CCE programs including study abroad groups and special programs.
- Supervise the work of non-teaching contracts of instructors.
- Responsible for implementing and managing online placement testing system, coordinate placement of students to CCE language programs.
- Respond to student inquiries re administrative/academic matters. Support Senior Director Executive and Professional Programs in addressing escalated student concerns.
- Plan, schedule and implement new and existing course and program offerings.
- Coordinate program accreditation by external organizations. Ensure that the requirements of accreditation are conducted in a timely fashion and respond to results of the appraisals.
- Represent CCE on university committees and other external relevant working groups.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree in an area related to primary responsibilities and 4 to 7 years of related experience.
- Previous academic and administrative leadership experience in an educational environment,
- Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience working with adult learners and in a post-secondary environment.
- Demonstrated competence in utilizing educational technologies including the course management system (Moodle), on-line and blended teaching.
- Strong networking skills and affiliation with professional associations.
- Very good knowledge (Level 5) of spoken and written English and French to write reports, to give and interpret detailed information, explanations, and instructions and deal with people in situations that require accurate use of both languages.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues in a team environment.
- Ability to perform tasks within time-sensitive schedule.
- Good knowledge (Intermediate level) of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- Ability to lead a team and foster a positive team work environment.
- Ability to work extended hours throughout the year.
- Digital technologies background is an asset.
- High standard of work performance and seeking advice and expertise of others is an asset.
- Administrative experience in a university environment, cultural sensitivity is desirable.
- Knowledge of other languages is desirable.
