**WORKPLACE WELLNESS CONSULTANT, CLIENT EXPERIENCE**

Full-Time 18-month Contract - Competition #24-10

**Position Summary**

The Client Consultant is a member of the ASEBP Client Experience team which works to build relationships, establish shared understanding, and collaborate to achieve common goals with stakeholders in the public education sector.

As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you'll build trusted relationships with your client leaders, and other members of the health promotion community, to leave a lasting impact on staff wellness in the province. In this role you'll provide collaborative support to ASEBP's clients comprised of 58 school divisions and 13 public education associations. Using health promotion strategies you will provide training, develop resources, and support the development of workplace wellness strategies.

**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Address needs for the education sector workplace well-being through various health promotion frameworks and upstream approaches including the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety.
- Using evidence-based health promotion expertise, provide recommendations for best and emerging practices for wellness promotion.
- Collaborate with school divisions and public education association leaders to identify priorities; develop, implement and evaluate programs, policies and strategies, and promote resources to support workplace wellness.
- Identify, develop and broker connections to community-based health resources that support workplace wellness.
- Communicate health promotion information, using a variety of approaches (e.g. written documents/reports, online/in-person meetings) with diverse audiences.
- Develop and deliver presentations and facilitated sessions supporting mental health in the workplace, Psychological Health and Safety, workplace culture and leadership development.
- Develop, maintain, and evaluate ASEBP's workplace wellness resources and tools.
- Support the ongoing development of Workplace Wellness resources and tools on It Takes a Village.
- Research, develop and coordinate activities, policies and best practices that can be adapted or tailored to promote the health of the K-12 education sector staff.
- Represent ASEBP at external events.

**Your Education and Experience**
- University degree in a related field.
- A master's degree in public health, health promotion, social services, or other health-related fields is considered an asset.
- A minimum of 5 years' related work experience in employee mental health or health promotion.
- French language fluency is considered an asset.

A combination of education and experience may be considered.

**Your Abilities**
- Experience working with organizational leaders and groups to strategically influence the health of a population.
- Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating programs, policies and strategies to promote the well-being of populations.
- Experience using a participatory approach in community and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Solid track record of building and managing relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong facilitation skills, with experience creating and delivering workshops.
- Superior communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
- Highly developed interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
- Understanding of the principles of adult learning.

**Unique Working Conditions**

You will be working with clients across the province, so travel is required in this role. This position is eligible to participate in the hybrid workforce program.
