Administrative Full-time Revised Position

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage business operations and customer success by leading collaboration, development, implementation, marketing (selling) of custom courses, bootcamps, workshops and programs to reflect changing technology, current trends, best practices, economic and market influences and employment opportunities according to industry and partner needs
- Work with the Director of Custom Training Solutions to develop a sales, marketing, and promotion plan, including a digital strategy, with measurable targets to ultimately return a significant contribution to overhead back to the College
- Develop and expand partnership programs (healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing and others) and advise on custom developments to answer industry needs and ensure quality curriculum, part-time teachers and deliveries working and advising personnel in the Custom Training Solutions area, working co-operatively with all academic schools, Business Developers and Research Centres at Conestoga College
- Work collaboratively within Conestoga College and with external partners and advise the Research, Innovation & Entrepreneurship area in the trends and planning of new part-time training opportunities, including recommending lab and equipment requirements
- Develop industry linkages by representing the College to community groups, business and professional associations in the area of custom training and development through participating in and/or facilitating meetings and events, and acting as a representative of the Custom Training Solutions department
- Recruit, lead, manage and mentor curriculum developers, part-time instructors and support staff in the custom training solutions department
- Manage student (participant) issues as required

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Social Sciences, Education or a related field of study
- Minimum five years of practical related experience in training operations required
- Experience responding to requests for proposals (RFP’s) preferred
- Corporate training and continuing education experience preferred
- Leading edge knowledge in current and new workforce development trends required
- Project Management skills to lead operations for funded initiatives required
- Strong interpersonal skills that allow for relationship building both within the College and with outside organizations and clients
- Demonstrated superior presentation, writing and business relations experience required
- Digital media and marketing expertise required
- Training material development experience required
- Online learning knowledge preferred
- Demonstrated budget management and revenue generation to meet expectations
- Experience in College program administration and development an asset
- Contacts with business and professional associations and institutes an asset
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Suite, digital media and presentation software
- Demonstrated high level of customer service, problem management and project management skills
- Able to multi-task, work in a self-directed and team environment, and adapt to change
