As a key member of the Project Management Office (PMO) team, the **Administrative Services Coordinator** will be responsible for coordinating project activities and tasks by ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and project managers.

While each member of ECO Canada has individual responsibilities, ECO takes a team-based approach. Everyone is encouraged to take ownership of their ideas and to see them through to completion, collaborating with key influencers as required.

**Responsibilities**

This position will work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. With guidance from the Project Specialist and other members of the PMO team, this role will:

- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project charter, WBS, project plan and schedule, progress reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant records.
- Provide administrative assistance to the PMO team, such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, organizing project files, and maintaining project-related databases and systems.
- Manage effective communication with the program managers and other stakeholders within the organization.
- Deal with conflicting priorities, issues, risks, dependencies, and change.
- Work with program and functional managers to allocate, schedule and track project resources.
- Ensure deliverables adhere to quality standards.
- Communicate project details effectively to stakeholders.
- Track and report the involvement of project participants and volunteers monthly.
- Assist with other project management tasks as required.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, principles, and practices.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Creative and innovative thinking.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft products, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint is required.

**Education and Experience**
- Post-Secondary degree, or certificate, in Project Management or a related field.
- Familiarity with the environmental sector.
- Professional designations (such as PMP, PMI, and CAPM) are considered an asset.
- Professional development programs and online courses/training are recommended.

This role is a temporary contract position until **March 31, 2024**.

ECO Canada offers the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement (minimum 3 days per week at the Calgary office and the option to work remotely for the remaining 2 days).
