**Volunteer Position Description**:
We are looking for volunteers to join our historical media booth at K-Days (July 19-28). Volunteers will interpret the K-days history exhibit to interested visitors, sell merchandise, and manage inventory.

The ideal volunteer is someone who loves to speak about history, interact with people from all walks of life, and who can manage a crowd. We are happy to interview anyone with a passion for Canadian history.

Volunteers will work in shifts of 4 to 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 2 days. The days are dependent on the volunteer’s availability. We offer multiple benefits, which are detailed below. This is a great opportunity for anyone who would like to spend their afternoon immersed in history and their evening at the midway fair

**Volunteer Benefits**:

- All volunteers will be reimbursed for taking public transit (taxis and Ubers excluded) on the days of their volunteer shifts.
- All volunteers who work an 8-hour shift will receive lunch or supper from any of the on-site K-Days food vendors (up to $25 per day).
- Volunteers will receive a 10-day general admission pass to K-Days.
- All volunteers will receive a certificate of participation and/or a Letter of Recommendation upon successful completion of their volunteer hours.
