**Responsibilities**
- Proactively solicits and qualifies new business to achieve set revenue goals through prospecting calls, outside sales calls, site inspections, written communication, and client entertainment.
- Conducts targeted account research to determine revenue potential.
- Attends tradeshows, community events and industry meetings.
- Executes sales trips to key market areas.
- Responds to sales leads and clients’ requests within 4 hours.
- Prepares and customizes sales presentations and proposals to meet client’s needs.
- Produces quarterly plans and weekly reports with plans to follow through on activities targets and annual revenue goals.
- Participates in daily business review meetings, training and other sales-related meetings as required.
- To be knowledgeable of local markets, national corporations, market trends, the competition, and customer needs.
- Work with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers.
- Works in harmony with other departments to execute groups and catering.
- Analyze current and potential market trends, coordinates all activities to maintain and increase revenue through added business volume and increased ADR.
- Maintains accounts with all pertinent information.
- Maintain Manga / Brand policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by the GM.

**Requirements**:

- Must have excellent communication, written and verbal skills
- Must have knowledge and understanding of the hotel sales / operations
- Prefer previous experience in hotel sales
- Prefer previous brand experience
- Energetic and outgoing, with a positive attitude, driven to provide outstanding service.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, hold a valid driver’s license and self-drive to client appointments
- Self-motivated with the ability to function and make decisions in a fast-paced high-pressure environment with strong attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
