Position Overview
This position will provide support for the document control, audit and inspection and non-conformance systems within Omni-Assistant. This position will also provide support to the Integrated Quality Manager. The incumbent will work collaboratively with the Integrated Quality Manager and all members of the medical/scientific and management team in support of the quality management system.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Supporting the advancement of ACD readiness through the use of Omni-Assistant audit and inspections module;
- Supporting the advancement of Document Control through Omni-Assistant;
- Supporting the advancement of standardization across EORLA.

**Who we are**:
The Eastern Ontario Regional Laboratory Association is a member-based, not-for-profit organization providing the laboratory services for the acute care hospitals of the Champlain Region. EORLA oversees the operations of 18 licensed hospital-based clinical laboratories that serve the clinical programs of the 16 member hospitals. Through its mission of providing the best patient outcomes through modern laboratory medicine, innovation and academics, EORLA laboratories provide diagnostic tests for hospital inpatients and registered outpatients. Comprehensive testing is provided by a team of approximately 900 laboratory professionals, providing services in the disciplines of Anatomic Pathology (including Molecular Oncology), Biochemistry, Hematopathology (including Transfusion Medicine, Tissue Typing and Hematology) and Microbiology.

Basic Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience teaching a program and/or people;
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Accreditation Canada Diagnostics standards and the accreditation process;
- Sound knowledge of relevant government legislation pertaining to quality requirements and ISO 15189 health care regulations, laboratory practices and principles;
- Strong knowledge of use and build of OMNI-Assistant software;
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement principles, CQI methodology and tools and techniques;
- Good laboratory practice for a broad range of laboratory disciplines;
- Basic knowledge of statistical methods;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with internal stakeholders;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong presentation skills;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Demonstrated organizational skills;
- Ability to work autonomously.

As a pre-condition of employment, all new EORLA employees will be required to obtain and provide a satisfactory Criminal Records Check dated within six (6) months from the date of issue.

Rotation/Shifts
Days, 8 hour shifts. Travel to other EORLA site hospitals will be required. For information purposes only - EORLA reserves the right to change.
