**Responsibilities & Duties**:
New Business Development
- Research target demographics, customer needs, industry trends, and other data that can be used in creating strategies for business development
- Present sales pitches and other valuable information to prospects and current customers in a way that helps them identify a need for the service/educational products available
- Review competitive landscape and continuously update the SWOT analysis

Maintaining Existing Accounts & Relationship Building
- Attain monthly sales objectives and monitor profit margins
- Analyze territory trends and identify opportunities
- Ensure clients data and calls are kept relevant and current in systems
- Proactively following up with clients to ensure that they always have the support they need
- Build relationships with existing customers through consistent follow up, reliable communication and frequent updates on new launches
- Process sales, enter notes, maintain customer information and plan schedules in respective CRM systems

Generate Sales from Inactive & Prospective Customers
- Cold call prospective customers & determine opportunities to create business
- Research new potential client options & follow up on referrals from existing clients in collaboration with the sales team
- Open new accounts & support onboarding

Work collaboratively with Account Executives (AEs) and Business Development Executive (BDEs)
- Inform AEs & BDEs on any development being made with their existing clients
- Provide leads and referrals to AEs & BDEs when warranted

Generate Statistical Reports
- Analyze past sales statistics to identify current and future trends on a monthly basis
- With support of your sales manager, develop strategies to increase sales with new and current accounts

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a Science or Sales related field
- Four (4+) plus years’ experience in sales
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Teams and Excel) required
- Excellent communication skills; fluent French and English (oral & written) required. This position interfaces with customers in Canada and US.
- Experience as a pharmacy technician, knowledge of compounding or representative in pharmaceutical industry an asset
- Proven abilities in discovering opportunities, developing strategies and closing sales
- Effective organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
- Memorable, dynamic & animated
- Strong listening skills, very customer focused and professional

**Travel**:Upon request, attend tradeshows/conferences/programs to secure new business, build brand awareness and maintain current relationships.
