As the Administrative Assistant (Front Desk), you are part of a team that makes a difference by providing a warm welcome to visitors and by ensuring smooth operation of the office. You are an energetic, results-oriented individual with strong organizational skills. As a member of our caring team, you will play a primary role in ensuring that all office administrative functions are coordinated to achieve a high level of productivity within our Corporate Office.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

This position contributes to processes and practices through accurate, timely, effective, and efficient functions in support of the Corporate Office. This position will temporarily support the Director of Marketing & Communications and the Director of People & Culture.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- **Office Support - **Administrative support for the efficient day-to-day flow of information at the Corporate Office through collaboration and collegial teamwork
- **Stakeholder Relationship Management** - Contributing to exceptional external and internal relations through courteous and tactful handling of inquiries, clear communication, and diplomacy
- **Professionalism - **Providing initiative and sound judgment in handling daily tasks and referring matters appropriately
- **Safety - **Ensuring safety is part of the organization’s everyday standard work and expectations surrounding safety behaviors are in accordance with LCC health & safety policies

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE POSITION & ORGANIZATION**

**Education**:

- Completion of a Grade 12 diploma
- A certificate or diploma in office administration from a recognized institution would be considered an asset

**Experience**:

- One year of experience working in an administrative support role
- Experience in a hybrid organization (for-profit and not-for-profit) would be considered an asset
- Experience in a health-care sector would be considered an asset
- Experience in a housing sector would be considered an asset

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Exceptional planning, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Expert written and verbal communication skills including excellent proficiency in editing material for clarity, accuracy and conciseness.
- Ability to work collegially, collaboratively and build positive relationships through respectful and professional interactions.
- Ability to learn and develop a working knowledge of the organization, including its governance and organizational structure and relationships.
- Excellent computer skills, with a good working knowledge of various programs, including but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Intranet/Internet, and the capability to learn new programs as required.
- Demonstrated approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
- Knowledge and experience in minute taking and synthesizing information.
- Ability to anticipate needs, think critically and offer solutions to problems.
