We are a new paper bag manufacturing company in Markham, Ontario. Customer satisfaction and adherence to industry standards are at the core of our business philosophy. We will produce tens of thousands of bags a day and are seeking an experienced and efficient sales and marketing manager to join our team. This role is both salary and commission-based position and requires a proactive individual who will drive sales growth by engaging with wholesalers, retailers and customers directly.

**Responsibilities**:

- Generating leads, understanding their needs and proposing suitable solutions
- Ability to create and execute a strategic sales plan through actively monitoring market trends
- Ability to meet with potential clients and grow long term relationships by serving and understanding their needs
- Ability to ececute the entire sales process from planning to closing
- Efficiently managing leads, opportunities, and sales activities using CRM tools
- Focusing on customer retention strategies, actively tracking customer feedback and developing action as required
- Introducing various membership plans for paper bag customers
- Conducting negotiations and successfully closing deals
- Coordinating with the production and logistics to ensure timely delivery of products
- Creating regular reports with details of sales activities, goals and results in order to effectively plan and update strategy as needed
- Updating daily logging of visits or contacts in the CRM system to keep track of the customers
- Continuously developing skills for training team members, ensuring us of effective sales tactics to meet sales objectives
- Plan, direct and evaluate the activities of firms and departments that develop and implement advertising campaigns to promote the sales of products.
- Analyze market research data to improve business decisions or activities

**Skills**:

- A proven track record of negotiating and closing sales
- Passionate to perform follow ups with clients to ensure they are completely satisfied
- Excellent communication, leadership, self motivation and problem solving skills
- Ability to address changing situations/priorities and solve problems as they evolve
- Ability to use CRM to efficiently log activities, prospects and clients
- Ability to build profitable long term relationships with customers and ensure that these relationships are well managed.
- Ability to oversee the sales process from beginning to end, evaluate clients needs, schedule sales presentations ,collect the necessary information to open new client accounts.
- Ability to coordinate and track all sales tasks and activities in the related market
- Ability to work well independently and as a team member
- Passionate about our customers and loyal advocate to our brand and products
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Eligibility for employment in Canada, valid work permit and SIN

Qualifications:

- 5 years of experience as a Sales and marketing manager with track record of success
- Bachelor's degree in a related topic
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies for sales to wholesalers, retailers and businesses
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Experience with CRM software
- Professional in English language
- Professional strong written and verbal communication skills and highly effective time management
- Ability to travel and commute to client locations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Commission pay
