**Le Petit Pain** is a brand new classic high end French brand that aims to bring a taste of France to Canada, with our first location in the prestigious Forest Hill Village. Our goal is to open in the beginning of November. Our brand is built on the foundation of the exploration of authentically French baked goods and specialty food/drinks, and we pride ourselves on crafting high-quality, handcrafted patisserie, and introducing authentic French cheeses, wine, and vintage antiques to our guests.

**LPP** is currently looking for talented and passionate individuals to join our opening team as front of house associates (part-time and full-time). In this role, you are the face and the first impression of our brand, which is crucial for the initial guest experience. Not only are you expected to be the balanced definition of both professionalism and warm hospitality, you’d also be a fast, clean, and organized team oriented individual, by working at the cash register, making specialty drinks and coffee, helping out the kitchen team to assemble to go food, as well as assisting all guests with any questions they may have.

**Qualifications**:

- Smart Serve Certified
- Guest relations expert
- Barista experience an asset (but not mandatory)
- Basic cash counting/math skill set
- 2 years of food service, hospitality or similar experience
- Knowledge of classical French pastries an asset (but not mandatory)
- Able to work in a high volume establishment
- An eye for detail orientation
- Wine knowledge/certification is an asset
- Formal education in hospitality is an asset (but not mandatory)
- Organized and team oriented
- TouchBistro POS experience is a plus
- Fluent in French is an asset (extra bonus)
- Merchandising experience an asset

**Job Descriptions**:

- Always maintaining warm professionalism while serving guests
- Executing daily cash register tasks with ease
- Making coffees/specialty drinks accurately (will provide training with spec sheets)
- Able to stand on your feet for 8 hours long
- Restocking inventory (cheeses, wine, home goods)
- Assembling pre-made sandwiches, salads, and mise en place
- Cleaning workstation and retail space as required
- Following management/brand’s vision to the teeth
- Maintaining a clean and fresh uniform policy
- “There is no I in team” mentality

**Compensation**:

- $20.00 per hour based on experience (starting end of Oct. 2024)
- 30 min unpaid break per shift
- 50% off team discount
- 1 free meal per shift
- Paid time off (4% vacation pay added onto payroll)

- Overtime pay (past 44 hours per week)
