**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

As the Service and Development Manager, you will use your expertise in the mining sector to:

- Transform the service department to have a more client relationship management focus.
- Build strategic partnerships in the mining sector and drive revenue growth.
- Create new business opportunities with existing clients.
- Develop the Service Department to enable excellent service for our customers.
- Develop and distribute service bulletins internally and externally.
- Lead and manage a team to maintain and run the service department.
- Manage service requests both in house and at a client’s site.
- Prepare the repair assessments, worksite daily log sheets and weekly summary reports.
- Schedule and process service work to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage warranty programs and provide feedback to other departments on product improvement opportunities.
- Manage service group schedules and resources to meet project commitments and delivery dates.
- Ensure quality and efficiency standards are met.
- Maintain a well-organized and clean facility to support service requirements.
- Ensure shop equipment and tools are maintained.
- Identify and record fabrication non-conformities and participate in their resolution.
- Follow prescribed safety standards, rules, and regulations - lead by example.
- Recommend improvements and develop improvement plans in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
- Maintain a healthy work environment and develop employees on a professional level.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

As the Service and Development Manager, you will:

- Bring a strong background, illustrated relationship network, and expertise from your mining career.
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, geology, or related field would be advantageous.
- Be able to demonstrate a solid understanding, have experience and exposure, including Project Management in underground mining and capital projects.
- Calm and resolute personality with a determined focus to succeed in challenging environments.
- A track record of success in relationship management, service, and business development in the mining industry.
- Be motivated by the goal to grow the service division through excellence in customer service.
- Have a strong understanding of the mining industry, including market dynamics, technologies. and regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- 5+ years of maintenance, projects and or service experience.
- 3+ years of leadership experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically as required.
