With the ever increasing demand for support and service in the auto industry, our **Ottawa-Area accounting team ** is looking for **Accounts Receivable Clerk** to join the team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Hands on role, responsible for multiple automotive dealerships based in the Ottawa region.
- Contact customers to resolve invoices, credits and/or payment discrepancies.
- Responsible for collection calls for overdue accounts.
- Post customer payment and record cash transactions daily.
- Review and reconcile schedules weekly.
- Prepare weekly warranty follow-up reports to send to service departments.
- Send customers monthly statements with adequate back up.
- Assist in preparation of month end and year end reports and other accounting duties as required.
- Provide responses to customers and internal requests for information.
- Responsible for off-site visits for monthly inventory counts.

- Proficient in MS Office, with strong Excel skills; including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Post-Secondary Education in accounting/business/finance.

**Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year
