Job Description: Accounting Technician

**Duties**:

- Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Assist with various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation.
- Process and manage payroll, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, taxes, and deductions.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with team members to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Perform general ledger accounting functions, including maintaining and reconciling accounts.
- Assist with tax compliance and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance role.
- Proficient in 10-key typing and data entry skills.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with payroll management processes and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

To succeed in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, along with proven experience in an accounting or finance role.
