Meadow Lake Co-op is hiring a Registered Pharmacy Technician at our Pharmacy in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan.

**Who we are**:
**What you’ll do**:
Working closely with the Pharmacy Manager and other Pharmacy Team Members, you will be responsible for:

- Supporting pharmacological services by stocking, assembling, and distributing medication.
- Organizing medications for pharmacists to dispense.
- Ensuring that client’s prescriptions are accurate.
- Keeping records of client’s information and bill insurers.
- Attending to healthcare workers and patients on the phone and referring them to the pharmacists if needed.
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and following all practices according to Federal and Provincial Law.
- Being proactive in your conducts at work to improve the pharmacy’s productivity.
- Willing to partake in external pharmacy support programs.
- Providing customer service that will promote the sale of Co-op merchandise in the pharmacy.
- Managing asset protection to prevent shrink.
- To be familiar with the pharmaceutical products in the pharmacy.
- As a brand ambassador, you will model “living the brand” every day through our Mission Statement and values of Community, Service, Teamwork, and Responsibility.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment and comply the rules and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Who you are**:
You are passionate about a career in the pharmaceutical industry and:

- You are licensed to practice and are in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals or eligible for registration.
- You have (0-1) or more years of prior experience in a Community Pharmacy.
- You are professional and brand-oriented with a friendly and positive demeanor to model a strong customer focus.
- You must have the ability to communicate effectively to maximize accuracy in the delivery of customer care.
- High level of professionalism.
- You look for continuous improvement through optimizing work processes.
- You are action oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- You have strong interpersonal savvy skills, relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people.
- You are willing to be involved in the community.
- You take accountability and can work under mínimal supervision.
